"He led socialism with the ideologies and philosophies of Jay Prakash Narayan Ji and Lohia ji. He became the vocal voice of socialism in Uttar Pradesh and other parts of the country. His service to the nation will be remembered by all of us."

"I am sure his followers will continue to walk on the path of socialism shown by Shri Mulayam Singh Yadav Ji."

The Lok sabha speaker also said thay as a member of 17th Lok sabha, Yadav was regular in Parliament despite his ill health and was participating in deliberation which speaks of his commitment to and faith on democracy.

He believed that socio-economic development within the country is possible through democratic institutions, that is why he had so much of faith in democracy.

"I express my grief on his demise and express my condolences. May his soul attain the lotus feet of Mahaprabhu. I hope that the voice of socialism that he had lit, his followers would carry forward. Om Shanti."

UNI AO SHK2049。近30名两岸青少年开展为期5天的非遗与科技研学，深化文化认同，促进交流融合。         海峡导报讯（记者 崔晓旭 通讯员 郑筱萱 许子柱 文/图）8月17日，由海沧区民政局、海沧区台办联合主办的2026年厦台青少年匠心非遗研学夏令营在厦门海沧沧江研学营地正式开营。         ▲青少年走进海峡两岸中医药文化展示馆。    本次夏令营以“两岸童心 逐梦同行”为主题，近30名两岸青少年相聚海沧，开启为期5天融合非遗、历史溯源、科技探索于一体的研学之旅。此外，还邀请海沧区在地台青队伍全程陪伴参与，创新两岸青年交流模式。    5天的研学之旅，营员们将走进厦门老院子观赏《闽南传奇》演出，探访钟山水美宫、区文化馆，了解两岸共传的送王船非遗民俗。同时实地走访鼓浪屿、金沙书院等，溯源保生大帝济世文化、侨乡文化与闽南千年文教底蕴。

二 | 通过踏访开台文化公园，深入了解颜思齐历史事迹，品读两岸先贤开拓拼搏的动人故事，让青少年直观感悟两岸同根同源、一脉相承的深厚渊源，深化两岸青少年的文化归属感与血脉认同。    值得一提的是，本次研学活动融合传统文化与现代科技，为两岸青少年搭建多元化实践平台。活动将组织营员走进厦门科技馆、美亚柏科等科创企业，沉浸式实地研学打破课堂学习局限，开拓青少年科创眼界，激发创新思维与求知热情。
